‘Cookies’ are text files that your browser creates at the command of the site’s computers. Some cookies expire when you close your browser while others remain on your hard drive on the endpoint device you are using. Cookies may contain various information such as the pages you visited, the duration of your stay on the site, how you arrived at the site, sections, and information you wish to see upon entering the site, and more.

If you do not wish to receive cookies, you can avoid this by changing the settings in your browser. For this, please consult the help file of the browser. However, bear in mind that disabling cookies may result in your inability to use some of the services and features on the site or on other websites.

In addition, you can delete the cookies on your computer at any time. It is advised to do so only if you are sure you do not want the site to be customized to your preferences and if you want the site not to recognize you on subsequent visits to sections of the site that require registration.

Information Security

The Association places great importance on the security of information in its systems. To protect the information, it operates systems, applications, and procedures for securing information, designed to minimize the risks of theft, harm, loss, or unauthorized access to information.

However, there is no certainty that these applications completely ensure that personal information will not be exposed or stolen from databases. Therefore, the Association does not guarantee, and you cannot reasonably expect, that the services and information systems used by the Association will be immune to unauthorized access to the information stored in them. By using the site and its services, you are aware of and agree to these limitations.

Right to Access Information

According to the Privacy Protection Law, 1981, every person is entitled to access information held about them in a database, either personally or through a representative authorized by them in writing or through a guardian. A person who has accessed their information and found it to be inaccurate, incomplete, unclear, or outdated is entitled to contact the database owner with a request to correct or delete the information. If the database owner refuses, they must notify the requester in the manner specified by the Privacy Protection Law regulations. The requester is entitled to appeal in the manner prescribed by regulations regarding the refusal of the database owner to allow access or the notice of refusal to correct or delete information.

Please note that deleting information may prevent you from continuing to receive services from the site and lead to the cancellation of your registration on the site. Information required by the Association – including documentation of actions you performed on the site – will continue to be retained by the Association according to the law, but will no longer be used for the purpose of contacting you. If within 30 days you do not receive notification that the information requested to be deleted has indeed been deleted according to this section, you will be entitled to appeal to a court as stipulated in the Privacy Protection Law regulations, to order the Association to act accordingly.

If other changes that are not significant are made to the policy, a notice will be published on the home page of the site 7 days before they take effect—unless changes to the policy are made according to legal provisions or a request from a competent authority, in which case the changes will take effect according to the provisions of the law or the request.
