Yes. The house parents guide the volunteers and support them at work, in the house, and in caring for the residents. Each workshop also has a responsible permanent staff member who directs the volunteers and supports them in the professional and practical aspects of the tasks and in working with the residents. The village covers all of the volunteers\u2019 room and board, daily financial needs, insurance and medical care. Bed sheets, towels, simple cosmetics like toothpaste, soap, shampoo etc. are provided as well. In addition the volunteers get about $180.-\/month and in the end of a year, a bonus of about $380.- as a support for the home travelling.<\/h6><\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

Every volunteer has one day off a week. Every five or six\u00a0 weeks they have a free weekend, from Thursday noon\u00a0 \u00a0till Sunday morning.There are 28 days of vacation: 4 days during the Sukkot holiday (in the fall), 4 days for Chanukah (in the winter), 6 days for Passover (in the spring) and 14 days during the summer.
